MARCH 31 SHOW

This show has been a joy
to put together. Not only
for the music but, because it's
a birthday week for three of my favorite
artists.

Marvin Gaye, Major Lance and my friend, Dave Bupp.
While I did have the opportunity to meet the first two men, I have
had the pleasure of knowing Dave for more than four decades.
(yes, this means we're getting older)
As I've said many times, "there are singers and then there are "singers"."

Dave falls into the latter group.
He's always been able to take anything he sang and make it his own.
It's a special gift.

Hey y'all, (I'm practicing for when I can finally move south)
we have a terrific show tonight. Artists from every genre.
Sometimes a show seems to write itself and this is one of those
times.

We had a few requests, we'd sure like more. Wednesday's get
kind of lonesome when it's just my favorite songs.

To everyone who wrote me e-mails, thank you. If you'd consider
posting here, it would be appreciated.

Be sure to order your own copies of Class of 60 Somethin',
Mark Cassara, The Magnificent Men and the Craig Woolard Band.

You get to drive your friends crazy when they're in the car and stuff they've never heard comes on.

I'd tell you to order copies of Class Act featuring Rita, but they're out of print.

Monday March 10

We have a neat show tonight. Music ranging from
Harry James to 14 Karat Soul. I think you'll enjoy it.

Next week we'll have a new Wednesday
"Request & Dedication" show as well
as our new Monday thing. If you have anything you'd
