June 30

It's the end of the first half of 2008. My goodness, time has flown.

Tonight's show features two artists, who happen to have birthdays this week. Paul Williams of The Temptations and Gene Chandler. I hope you enjoy the musical selections.

Rita Angelucci, of Class Act Featuring Rita, managed to break her leg while mowing the lawn. (don't ask)
Anyway, she's doing well and won't miss any gigs. If you wish to send her a note, you can reach her through
http://www.classact-rita@hotmail.com I'm sure she'd be happy to hear from y'all.

Have a great week, everybody. For most of us in the United States, it's only a four day work week!!!!!

  1. always enjoy the trivia comments about the artists. Today, I thought it was nice of you to let the listeners know that "the Supremes had more than one voice" ooooweee, Pushed the envelope and had your toe right up to the line. So politically correct and always a gentleman; but "ouch" and "haha" anyway. "That other female" did everything she could to hurt Flo. It was a kind and very thoughtful deed for you to give her props and the recognition she was swindled out of so unnecessarily.

Liked the Buddy Rich play. Reminded me of an album I still have (somewhere) "Hal Blaine, Drums A Go Go". "Shame" sounded so good! I actually forgot what a great song it is. Can't ever go wrong with the Tempts or George Carlin. Both geniuses.

"The Soul of a Man" gave me chills and made me want to shout at the same time. Must add it to my collection. Somebody was jamming on the piano - my favorite instrument (drums second and guitar third). Spidells? Never heard of them but so glad you shared.

As always, your efforts to provide the best in music paid off. Great show.
