The last blog for what has proven to be a tumultuous year. (that may be an understatement)
FNST Radio is entering it's third year and I'm proud of what the Techie Gnome and I have accomplished. From not really knowing what we were doing to at least having a clue, is a major accomplishment. Someday, we may actually figure this out.
There are still wars. We have people with no place to live and children going to bed hungry, in this country. The economy is probably in the worse shape it's been since the Great Depression.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, however. (just pray it's not a fast moving freight coming at us) I have a basic faith in this country. It will re-invent itself and come out of this with a better understanding of itself and it's place in the world.
As I look back at the entries for the past year, I'm saddened by all the people we've lost. However, we still have them with us. They're not forgotten, for they touched us and left an impression on our lives.
On a brighter note, FNST Radio continues to grow. More slowly than I'd hoped, but people are finding us and coming back. I check the stats, everyday, and am amazed at all the places that show up. We truly are world wide. If you can help spread the word, please do so.
My wishes and prayers go out to all of you and your families, for a better 2009. May it be a good year for not only the FNST family but the world as whole. After all, we're all we have.
Take care of yourselves and each other.

Last year was one heck of a time in history, but we made it through. I'm grateful to see another one come my way.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, my sincerest thanks to the PD and Techie Gnome for all your hard work. You have given me many hours of enjoyable music and travels down memory lane.
Blessings of peace, health and happiness to you both. Have a wonderful 2009.
