I have two shows, this week. Monday's "normal" thing and Wednesday's Request Night.
I do love the once a month format for Wednesdays. It gives me a chance to find different music and actually "talk" with our listeners. Sometimes the requests are a bit off the wall but that's okay.
Monday night is loaded with "new" songs for the rotation. How about new stuff by The Cruisers, Boyd McCoy, The Diplomats, Billy Butler, The Tempests and more? Of course there are some of our old friends as well.
Wednesday night I have some music that is new to me and a few things I'd forgotten.
Al and Michael, thank you for exposing me to The Steelers and The Illusions..........I'm not sure the checkbook agrees but it's cool:-)
Shirley, I'm glad you reminded me about the Five Heartbeats. What a great soundtrack! The movie was pretty good, too.
Ginger, as always you got me hunting. The Cookies? That brings back some memories. All good ones.
Marjo, guess what? I found a couple for you as well. There's some soul in that Dutch girl.
Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy the shows. After all, it truly is "all about the music".
